Thank you for the insightful biological perspective on our collective human crises, and your mission to help students think critically. As you suggest, what the biological model can't account for is the power of the narrative in this long experiment to either inspire "the angels of our better nature" or, at other times, galvanize dread and irrationality. With such Furies flying and screaming, how will this nation revert to sanity at the ballot box?
